In steps towards environmental conservation, we partnered with MasterCard and Lulu Hypermarket, to join forces under a Mangrove Restoration Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), announced at the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) held in the United Arab Emirates.
This MOU, led by Khalil Yassine, Head of Unilever Arabia, marks a commitment to sustainability efforts focused on the restoration of mangrove habitats within the region. It aims to plant and rejuvenate mangrove areas in the UAE, which are vital for coastal protection and supporting climate biodiversity.
