Three people speaking at the Plastics Conference in AlKhobar, Saudi Arabia

On May 14th, 2023, Noor Balfaqeeh, Head of Corporate Affairs and Communication GCC, was invited by the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) to speak about Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), as she is leading the circular packaging working group under the Federaton of Saudi Chambers. At the Plastics Conference in AlKhobar, Saudi Arabia, Noor emphasized EPR which obligates producers to contribute to the waste management of their products.

We understand that the path to sustainability is a collective journey, one that requires collaboration with consumers, governments, and like-minded organizations. It is only through these partnerships that we can implement effective waste management systems, innovate in packaging solutions, and ultimately, foster a culture of sustainability.

Noor's message at the conference was clear: sustainable living should be within everyone's reach, and it is our responsibility as a leading consumer goods company to pave the way. We are committed to this cause, not just in words but in concrete actions, and we will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in sustainability.
